Welcome to my "About" page! My name is Jason
Benedict and I am the creator of Misshapen, a
little hobby that I started in the fall of 2007. If
you're reading this, then we may have more than a
few things in common. For example, I happen to love
a warm bed and a cool pillow and kettle-cooked
potato chips.
Some fun facts about me:
1. I work in Advertising.
2. I have a Jackalope named Elvis. Pictured to the
left and below
3. I got married in Las Vegas.
4. My first real job was working in the Toy
Department at Meijer.
5. I graduated with a degree in Business
Administration from Western Michigan University (I
majored in Advertising and have a minor in
Philosophy.
6. I have no idea where this is going.
7. I hate Volkswagen and everything they stand for
- Someday I'll tell you about it.
8. Sometimes I love too much!
9. I'm in a writing group called "Write Club." We
write!
10. I am extraordinarily happy you're reading my
comic.
Some fun facts about Misshapen:
1. It's dedicated to everyone who takes the time to
read it.
2. It's all done in PowerPoint, using the
AutoShapes function because I can't draw things
with any consistency.
3. Gary is my favorite.
4. It's really cool and punk rock because almost
nobody reads it.
5. If you roll your mouse over the comic, you'll
get a secret message.
6. Fun is subjective.
7. Flash's lightning bolt tail is his most
commented-on feature.
8. There are new comics every Monday, Wednesday and
Friday.
9. It might one day be huge in Japan.
10. There are only nine fun facts and, of those
nine, only four are really fun.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy yourself and always treat
others with respect and kindness.
